More about Lakeside at Mill House Place
The lake was formed by damming at the juncture of two ancient, cold water streams called Pheasant Creek and Cold Springs Creek, which keep the lake full of fresh water even in the driest of seasons. Many years ago, these creeks provided water for the family farm’s animals and plantings, sand for various building projects and an enthralling adventure land for youngsters.
Four of the eight Estate tracts will be waterfront homes and enjoy full lake benefits including fishing, boating and the privilege of constructing a pier. Homes in Lakeside must have a minimum 3,150 square feet above-ground, heated floor space.
All of the uniquely different Lakeside tracts have spectacular views of the lake and extensively wooded hills beyond. Nestled in those hills are a very few private residences which gently complement this beautifully serene water setting in Winston-Salem.
